We got our first order on Etsy already! Who would have thought we will get our first sale so fast? I added our items in the late evening yesterday and overnight we sold 2 stickers to a lady in the US. YAY! Keep the orders coming

Today we started selling on Etsy. Yay!
Etsy is a website providing online shops to sellers who sell hand made items, art and craft and supplies. As we have lots of stickers etc., we decided to try it out and start selling our stickers there. They are supplies for making art and craft so they are suitable to sell there.

Another big milestone in our business history: We got 50 orders in our kawaii shop. It’s worth being patient and investing the time. The 50th order went to Niort in France. Next milestone we are looking forward to: 100 orders.

Today we received our 30th order in our kawaii shop. Really cool. The order came from a German in Berlin. The 10th order we got on 9.6.2008. Coming up next: 50 orders

It took a while to upload all our new products but finally all our products are online. It is so much work until they are finally online. Here is an idea of what we have to do:
1. Check quantity
2. Take photos
3. Put them in our Database
4. Write German descriptions and measure items
5. Upload Products to Shop
6. Write English descriptions
7. Finished

Our online shop is getting more traffic and we overload our current capacities. Therefore, we decided to move to a new server at our server provider in Germany. There are less websites on this new server, that means less traffic and higher capacities for us. I guess this server should be strong enough for the coming months.

YAY, we got our first 10 orders in our new online kawaii shop! It took a while since we opened on 23.3.2008 but we have to be patient with our new baby. The shipment went to Marseille in France. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the future. Let’s see when we can pronounce the first 30 orders.

I got a new newsletter software which I can connect with my software Afterbuy. We use Afterbuy for the online shop, managing eBay auctions, our product database and handling the purchases. I was on the lookout for a suitable newsletter provider for a while and I decided to use CleverReach. After testing and trying out all the functions I wrote our first newsletter for our customers. It took a while to set up a nice design and write the whole newsletter but the coming newsletters will be much faster written as I can save my newsletters as templates. I hope my customers enjoy this service and get informed about new products first and special sales that only our newsletter subscribers can enjoy.

And here comes the 3rd order in our online shop. This time a lovely lady from the UK ordered some items in our eBay-shop. I offered her free shipping if she orders in our online shop instead. So she did She called me later because she had some questions about our payment terms. I helped her to pay and the items will be shipped tomorrow. One more happy customer
