Today we got a few thousand new items. There are fingerless gloves, purses, wallets, hairclips, canvas shoulder bags and belts. Lots and lots of new products with prints like skulls, cherries, stars, polka dots, checker, stripes, roses, swallow, iron cross, butterfly, crossbones and many more.

Wow, we just got some really cool hoodies from our supplier. We have 3 different designs in 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL). One design is with Jack Skellington (from Nightmare Before Christmas) all over printed on the hoodie, another one is really cute with stars and skulls and the other one is with a big skull and stars and dices. Today we finally got our first bunch of San-X items with Rilakkuma and Mamegoma merchandise. These things are so super kawaii! Their quality is really great and the design is so cute. We got some bags, cellphone charms and stationery items like pencil cases. Here are some pics of the products:

It took a while to upload all our new products but finally all our products are online. It is so much work until they are finally online. Here is an idea of what we have to do:

We went to Fashion Week 2008 in Hong Kong today and checked out the new trends for the coming season. I love Fashion Week, seeing all these clothes, bags, shoes and accessories is just a dream for a girl. We even found 2 companies who make some really interesting collections. One has a line with skulls, tatoo style prints, a bit similar to Ed Hardy. The other one is an agent for a New Zealand designer. She makes really pretty cute things with a character called “Misery“. We plan to work together in the future and distribute their products in Europe.

Today we got some rainboots samples from 2 manufacturers from China. The prints are really pretty and cute (polka dots, stars, anchors,…) but unfortunately the quality of the rubber is not satisfying. Additional, the manufacturers require minimum order quantities of 2000 pairs or more. That’s not possible and reasonable for us. Anyway, I am sure we will find some other suppliers with better quality and lower quantities.

Today we finished our project taking photos of all our new products. YAY! I am very happy with the result. Our products look really good like that, don’t you agree?

Today we got lots of new Tenshi Neko and Akuma Neko bags delivered, more than 400 altogether. Luckily we moved to our new office already and have lots of space to store all of them. Tenshi Neko is our bestseller so we have to order new bags frequently. Akuma Neko is a brand new character that was just released. Akuma Neko is the boyfriend of Tenshi Neko and the naughty one. We also ordered some new items today, not just handbags. We got some really gorgeous back-bags, wallets, cosmetic bags etc.

We met with the Japanese boss from San-X Hong Kong today. He is very interested in working together with us as San-X is only focusing on the Asian market at the moment. He wants to expand their products to Europe and North America and we are the perfect partner for them because our wholesale and end-user customers are mainly from Europe, USA and Canada. We have quite a lot of contacts to shop owners who could be interested in selling these products. So we will act as an Official Wholesaler for their products to European and North American markets.

We had a visit from Marcus today to see his first sketches and ideas for our T-shirt collection. It looks quite interesting but still very early days. There is still lots of work to do before we can print them. I will keep you posted about the final collection.
