Japanese Food order

Today I received a call from a man in Hong Kong who wanted to order Japanese food from us. As he didn’t speak English, I passed the phone to my colleague and he found out that this person saw our Japanese erasers on the web and thought we are selling Japanese food in Hong Kong. We had a big laugh afterwards. Our Japanese Food erasers look so realistic that people think we are selling real edible food. Now that is a funny story I will remember for a long time 😉

I bet there was a lot of laughter for the rest of the day. I can indeed see why he might think that, they look very realistic. The mini snack bag and Dorayaki pancake look like they could be the real thing.

It would be so neat to use these if someone owned a restaurant and wanted to show certain menu items on their website or even in a small glass case.

haha, we did indeed laugh a lot about this incident.
Your idea of using them in a restaurant is really good. If any restaurant owners read this, follow Tara’s idea! That could be a funny marketing gag.

Honestly? I think it is in bad taste to make fun of potential customers on your blog :/

We didnt make fun of him. My colleague explained to him in a very professional way that we do not sell Japanese food. We just thought it is very funny and it shows that our efforts in taking very good pictures is worth it. People even think our products are “real”. We laughed about the funny question and didnt make fun of the person.
