The current issue of the German magazine Lisa features our funny fast food Iwako eraser set. The magazine did a little special about back to school items and they asked if they could introduce our erasers. Of course! We’re thrilled to be featured!

Today we show you some kawaii wallpapers with big oversize designs. As you can only see parts or one close-up view of the characters the designs are rather simple but still lots of fun. You can really see how much we already recognize iconic characters like Rilakkuma or Hello Kitty just by seeing an ear or part of the head. Click on each wallpaper to get to the download.
We have many beautiful new Kokka fabrics from Japan. Most of them are oxford fabrics, but there are also some super delicate gauze fabrics and our first ever Kokka flannel fabric. We really like the England designs that Kokka has been releasing lately. Check out the fabrics with London buses, Queen’s guards or teapots. We also received many designs that have gold metallic decorations, for example with apples or cherry blossoms.
And there is also news from echino: We now carry the pretty cotton sateen collection as cotton sateen laminates.
Another great feature from our beloved Sew Magazine. In their August issue they introduced some fun summer and holiday fabrics. Our Robert Kaufman parrot fabric and the cool Alexander Henry 50s retro fabric made their selection. Thanks for featuring us, we are super happy.
And if you can’t take your eyes off that cool Alexander Henry Aloha Pin up fabric no. 5, we carry that in our shop as well.
Popin’ Cookin’ are so much fun, therefore we are more than excited that we now have five new sets in our shop. We also found “how to” videos for all the sets, so if you want to see how the DIY candy sets work, click on the pictures below and then scroll to the end of the product pages to watch the videos.
In the funny Kuru Kuru Takoyaki Kracie Popin’ Cookin’ you make a candy version of a famous Japanese street food: octopus balls. Of course there is no real octopus included, but it is apparently the first savory Popin Cookin set. You do need a microwave for this one to bake the dough balls.
The Oekaki Animal Candy Land Popin’ Cookin’ is great if you want to color your own candy. Unlike in previous coloring sets, you can be more precise with your coloring here, as the mold creates kind of a thick outline on the candy, so that the colors don’t mix. You can create up to 8 different colors to fill in your candy.
With the kawaii Zoo Animal Gummy Candy Popin’ Cookin’ you can make funny lemon and grape flavored gummy candy in the shape of zoo animals. The set comes with a cute zoo card to present your candy.
The Kracie four-leaf clover candy game is a ready to eat candy game that’s especially nice for smaller kids. You can play with others or by yourself and have to get as many four-leaf clovers out of the box as possible. It’s a nice and amusing educational game, for example when children learn to count.
The Rocket Byun candy kit lets you decorate your own candy rocket. When you then launch the rocket and tear it apart yummy gum comes out inside that stretches super long. It looks like fire at a real rocket launch. Be sure not to swallow the gum though.
Which set is your favorite?
