‘Lessons for life’ might be a bit exaggerated, but we are sure that you won’t forget these pictures anytime soon, they just stick in your head. At least when you are interested in or curious about deco tapes. A couple of days ago we got the latest Prime Nakamura catalogue. It contained pictures of beautiful deco tapes, but also quite a few nice inspirations for what to do with the gorgeous adhesive tapes. We thought it might be nice to share those pics with you.
Let’s start classical. Deco tape is just perfect to beautify every piece of paper work. Use it to close paper bags, letters or to wrap presents. As you can see on the picture you can even create ribbons with it. And it always looks just amazing.
There a so many different deco tape designs that you can give your wrapping and packing a very individual look without a lot of work. For the decoration done on this photo you don’t even need scissors, as it is made with paper tape that can easily be torn by hand. The paper tapes you can buy in our shop are also sold in sets of four in different widths, which enables you to create even nicer visual effects.
Deco tape was basically designed for scrapbooking. Especially paper tape and Washi masking tape are great for this, because you can tear them by hand and write on them. But as you see on the photo, deco tape makes a pretty good decoration element in scrapbooks just by itself. You don’t scrapbook? No problem. Why not add a very special note to your next photo album by using colourful deco tape?
It’s so simple, but maybe you wouldn’t think of it right away. Of course you can also use deco tape as a regular adhesive tape in your everyday stationery life. Substitute the see-through tape in your tape dispenser with a pretty deco tape. You will be surprised how much nicer everything looks.
Take a boring white paper cup and turn it into something unique. This is not just a great idea for parties or dinners, but can be applied for anything. Give your vases a new coat of pain, pep up some old glasses or single coloured containers. The possibilities to be creative are sheer endless.
A really nice idea for presents. One piece of colourful tape can already make a difference. And as there are lots of deco tapes with writings like “Thank you”, “Happy Birthday”, “I love you” and so on, you might not even have to write a card. Keep the message simple and clear.
That is something we really have not seen before. But what a great idea. No matter if you give away flowers or just keep them at home, holding them together via cute deco tape is definitely an eyecatcher. To do it in proper style, use some flower tape.
As you can use deco tape to beautify almost anything, match up your deco tape design with the theme of your project. Sending something to friends in London? Use a cute London Deco Tape. Finally making that photo album with the pictures of your trip to France? Place a little Eiffel Tower Deco Tape here and there. You want to beautify your old shoe shelf? Shoe deco tapes will help you do so.
Earlier we suggested to use deco tape to pep up your gift wrapping. Of course you can also go one step further: deco tape BECOMES your wrapping. To stick deco tape on little boxes is a really good idea. Big deco tapes that are also very suitable for packing are really perfect for those kinds of projects.
