It just arrived and I immediateley added it to our shop. We got a “Alice Wonder Sweets Shop” Re-Ment Box from Japan. There are 6 different themes with lots of cute miniature sweets and shop accessories. Of course everything is related to Alice in Wonderland and super cute. So many lovely details.

Kokka sent us lots of the newest Japanese fabrics directly from Japan today. Those fabrics are just gorgeous. There are many new prints with deers, Alice in Wonderland, cute animals, Little Red Riding Hood, matryoshka dolls, girly skulls and we also ordered some more echino and Heather Ross fabrics. I hope you like our new Japanese fabrics for the winter season 2010/11.

We received another order of Japanese fabrics from Cosmo Japan. This time we got this year’s Halloween fabrics and Christmas fabrics already! We are very excited about them because they are just uber-cute and it is so hard to find kawaii Christmas fabrics and Halloween fabrics from Japan. In Japan Halloween and Christmas is just not that important than in Western countries. Here are some of my favorite fabrics:

We got a huge delivery of new deco tapes with more than 100 new designs today. There are many patterns like Alice in Wonderland, Matryoshka dolls, cute animals, sweets, candy, cupcakes, cakes, macaroons, mushrooms and many many more. Deco tapes can be used for many different things, like decorating your stationery, homeware, kitchen and bathroom tiles, your bike and anything else you can think of.

We finally got our first delivery of Cosmo fabrics from Japan! We are so excited, it was so hard to find those fabrics as they are made in Japan and we had to find the manufacturer first. We are now an official distributor for Cosmo fabrics! We placed an order right away, but only half of the order arrived today. The other half will arrive at the end of May. We got some fabrics with cute girls, Alice in Wonderland fabric, fabric with sweets and donuts and Paris themed fabric.

Zakkalife wrote another blog post about one of our Kokka fabrics, the pink Alice in Wonderland fabric. She got that fabric a while ago and had some leftover and decided to make cute Alice hairclips with them. I really like the matte finish of the hairclips. Have a look at them:

Today, we received a delivery of almost 40 bolts of Kokka fabrics from Japan. I was waiting for them impatiently because I couldn’t wait to see all the new cute patterns. We got Kokka fabrics with Matroshka dolls, kittens, Alice in Wonderland, toadstool, peach blossom, deers, monkeys, skulls and many more.

We had some fun in the office building a fabric pyramid with all the fabric bolts and took some pics.

Bento Boxes are a new trend for making attractive lunch boxes for children for kindergarten or school. In Japan, mothers prepare their kids’ lunch in so called “bento boxes” and the food is presented in a very cute way. There are Hello Kitty shaped vegetables, rice balls with faces and so on. It is getting more popular in Western countries as well. The bento boxes themselves are usually really cute lunch boxes with characters like Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma or some really cute animals. The most current trend is bento boxes with fairy tale prints like Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White and Matryoshka. Matryoshka is the famous Russian doll with a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. They are the most popular designs at the moment.

Our customers asked to get these bento boxes for our shop and therefore we sourced a supplier with really cute animal bento boxes and cutlery sets. The bento boxes are 2-layered lunch boxes with a pair of cute chopsticks. They come in 4 different colors and animal patterns: pink (piggy), green (frog), blue (bear) and yellow (bear). We also have the matching cutlery sets with chopsticks, fork and spoon. We just found another bento box supplier from Japan who will ship us our first order at the end of this month.

Bento boxes can be used as many different things, including their original use as a lunch box, as a sandwich box, for keeping bits and pieces, as a make-up case or many other things.
