Velvet Iron-ons

We got some more velvet iron-on designs today delivered. They are very useful to embellish a boring/simple t-shirt, bag, trousers, jacket and more. The upper side is made of velvet and very soft.

How to use them:

1) put your garment on a firm surface and lay the sticker onto the garment (transparent sticker up). Put a sheet of manilla paper over it.

2) set iron to 170 degree celcius, level 3, medium pressure, iron for about 20 seconds. Wait for sticker and surface to cool down.

3) remove manilla paper and peel off the transparent sticker after cool down.

4) iron again

5) please wait a few hours before washing the garment for the first time, so the iron-on can connect properly with the garment.

FINISHED! And you have a beautiful, cute, gorgeous new garment / bag etc. ;-)

New Office Pictures from modes4u

We got lots of new products and therefore had to expand our warehouse space. A huge load of Tenshi Neko, Akuma Neko and Mimori bags arrived the other day. We also received lots of new Japanese fabrics for the coming Autumn/Winter 2010 season, including some really cute Halloween and Christmas fabrics from Japan. Our packing table was also upgraded and packing is more efficient now. We put a whole shelf on the table for all the envelopes and plastic bags. On top of the shelf is a bubble wrap roll fixed,  so our packing staff can easily pull down some bubble wrap for packing. I took some pictures after we finished setting everything up and looking tidy again. Have a look at the pics here:

She is a cute kitty with a halo and looks a bit like Hello Kitty. So if you are looking for a Hello Kitty bag, you may like our Tenshi Neko bags as well. Akuma Neko is like the evil counterpart of Tenshi Neko. And Mimori is a cute little Asian girl who loves food and animals. Here are some of our most popular bags:

Visit at the factory in China

We have a big order for one of our customers in production at the moment. The deadline is approaching and we wanted to do some inspection of the goods ourselves to make sure the products are alright. The factory is in China, Guangdong province. Initially we planned to send 2 people to the factory but one of our staff was stopped at the border because her China ID card just expired and she couldn’t enter China. Therefore, Alan went by himself to the factory to have a look. He took some pictures of the factory in China. They were still working on part of the products, mainly sewing on handles on bags. The order included a lot of other items as well (socks, gloves, scarfs, hats, wallets, armwarmer, necklaces and more) but most of those items were made in another factory.  Below you can see the pictures and maybe you can imagine now a bit better where your bags come from and how they are made ;-)

Surprise Visit from France

Today we got a suprise visit from France. A couple rang at our office door and introduced themselves as shopowners from France. I was surprised as I have never heard from them before and they didn’t even announce their visit with a phone call. We invited them in and they told me that they would like to buy my Tenshi Neko bags and wallets. I showed them some Tenshi Neko bags and Tenshi Neko wallets and explained our usual wholesale procedure. They left me their contact details so I can send them my wholesale catalogs.

They were really lucky to meet us because its Chinese New Year and therefore a public holiday. We decided to work today (we are so hard working) and catch up on some work. Lucky them ;-)

New Emo, Rockabilly items arrived

Fashion Week Hong Kong 2008

We went to Fashion Week 2008 in Hong Kong today and checked out the new trends for the coming season. I love Fashion Week, seeing all these clothes, bags, shoes and accessories is just a dream for a girl. :-) We even found 2 companies who make some really interesting collections. One has a line with skulls, tatoo style prints, a bit similar to Ed Hardy. The other one is an agent for a New Zealand designer. She makes really pretty cute things with a character called “Misery“. We plan to work together in the future and distribute their products in Europe.
