Our bento boxes are getting more and more popular and therefore we decided to add some new bentos to our shop. We got some adorable new cute bento boxes in today. Those bento boxes are great for kids to bring lunch to kindergarten or school, or for adults to office. Today we received a big delivery of the newest Kokka fabrics from Japan + some restocked fabrics we sold out already. We are so excited to finally have the newest fabrics in our shop. Those Japanese fabrics are just gorgeous and so cute. The quality is as usual perfect and the prints are super accurate and colourful. We also received another delivery of bento boxes as well today. Our bento boxes are selling really well and are very popular with our wholesale customers as well. Therefore we had to restock sold out lunch boxes and also order some new designs from Japan. Today they arrived at our office. They are perfect for bringing your lunch to work/school/kindergarten. Our staff brings her lunch with such box to work every day. It is very useful because the bento box can be closed airtight, the foods stays safely in one place and even keeps the food a bit warm. The bentos are microwave safe, so just remove the lid, put the lunch box with your lunch in the microwave and you have a ready made meal. We even got some cute thermo bottles so you can bring your coffe/tea/soup to work and help the environment. Have a look at the pictures below, they are just so adorable! You never have to feel embarrased again for bringing pre-cooked food to work to safe money on restaurants.

Today we got a big delivery from Japan including lots of new cute kawaii bento boxes. I just love ordering those Japanese lunch boxes because their quality is very high, the colours and printing perfect and their design is so adorably cute. Below you can see some of the bentos we got today:

Today we received an email from a magazine in Germany who would like to publish one of our pictures. The magazine is a Psychology magazine and funnily they plan to write an article about bento boxes and how to prepare a cute lunch box. They wanted to use one of our bento pictures to show it in the article. We are really glad that our shop is getting more popular and even magazines and their editors are starting to be interested in our products.

Today I discovered a Youtube video by one of our customers talking about the products she ordered in our online shop. The video is in German, but basically what she is talking about is, how cute those products are She bought a Tenshi Neko bag, bento box, cutlery set, a memo pad, a Rilakkuma bag and Hello Kitty instant noodles from us. We didnt sponsor this video and I just accidentally found this video today (I was googling for “modes4u”). You can image how surprised I was to find a Youtube fan video about our products.

Bento Boxes are a new trend for making attractive lunch boxes for children for kindergarten or school. In Japan, mothers prepare their kids’ lunch in so called “bento boxes” and the food is presented in a very cute way. There are Hello Kitty shaped vegetables, rice balls with faces and so on. It is getting more popular in Western countries as well. The bento boxes themselves are usually really cute lunch boxes with characters like Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma or some really cute animals. The most current trend is bento boxes with fairy tale prints like Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White and Matryoshka. Matryoshka is the famous Russian doll with a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. They are the most popular designs at the moment.

Our customers asked to get these bento boxes for our shop and therefore we sourced a supplier with really cute animal bento boxes and cutlery sets. The bento boxes are 2-layered lunch boxes with a pair of cute chopsticks. They come in 4 different colors and animal patterns: pink (piggy), green (frog), blue (bear) and yellow (bear). We also have the matching cutlery sets with chopsticks, fork and spoon. We just found another bento box supplier from Japan who will ship us our first order at the end of this month.

Bento boxes can be used as many different things, including their original use as a lunch box, as a sandwich box, for keeping bits and pieces, as a make-up case or many other things.
