Christmas crafts: Washi Tape Christmas Coaster

This is a good decoration idea if you just have little time but still want to have a unique Christmas decor. Just take some old coasters and stick Washi Tape on them. You can always do the same pattern or design each one in a different way. After Christmas you can remove the tape and have your old coasters back.

Christmas crafts: Washi Tape Christmas Tree Bunting

A cookie cutter can be such a handy crafting tool. For today’s Christmas DIY we used it to make a colourful Christmas tree bunting. We made a Masking Tape pattern and then traced the shape of the cookie cutter onto it. Then you just cut out your shapes and string everything with the help of needle and thread.

Christmas crafts: Washi Tape Table Christmas Tree

In today’s Christmas DIY we made a cute Christmas tree table decoration. We cut out a cone from a regular big envelope and started sticking Washi Tape on it. You start from the bottom and go up layer by layer. To achieve the tree effect do not stick the tape stripe completely onto the cone, but leave the end sticking out. As you can see we also made tree version where we did not leave the ends loose, but the ‘real’ tree version looks a lot better.

Christmas crafts: Washi Tape Christmas cards

Washi Tape Christmas cards are one of the coolest ideas ever. They look so pretty and are unique. This year we made a couple of different models. Some were done super fast; the card with the three little Christmas trees honestly just took one minute to make. Other cards, for example the one with the snowman or the Christmas balls, took a bit longer, as round shapes are a bit more tricky. Which one do you like best?

Christmas crafts: Washi Tape Christmas wreath

This DIY is a fun alternative for using a real Christmas wreath. The Washi Tape Christmas wreath that we made is super light and can easily be attached to any door. We cut out a wreath from some thick cardboard and stuck pieces of green Masking Tape on it. You should stick them clockwise layer by layer and vary the tapes so that you get interesting visual effects.

Latest Christmas Shipping Dates 2013

We just received the lastest shipping dates for Christmas 2013 by Hong Kong Post. The post offices in Hong Kong release a chart every autumn, so that you can see until when your orders have to be mailed the latest so that they still arrive before Christmas Day.

Please check this year’s chart below carefully, as for many countries the latest shipping dates are already at the end of November!

However, Hong Kong Post stresses that the dates are provisional, they are worked out based on the requirements of overseas postal administrations. As the dates below are no guarantee and we strongly recommend that order earlier than the dates shown below.
