Last month I wrote about the visit of Clothworks’ CEO to our office and our plans to work together. In the meantime, the fabrics arrived from the USA and they are available at our shop starting today. We got some really cute owls fabrics from the Woodland Friends collection, fabrics with forest animals, dinosaurs and beetles. All fabrics are light cotton fabrics. They are great for making quilts, bags, clothes and anything else you can think of.

We received lots of new Michael Miller fabrics from the USA and added them to our shop today. There are many beautiful new prints including Christmas fabric, flower prints, animal fabric, knit fabric, laminate fabric and more. We got some new designer fabrics from the USA today. The fabrics are from Robert Kaufman and are absolutely lovely. The prints include owls, ice cream and cute reindeer with red noses. The reindeer fabric is especially suitable for Christmas and comes in 2 colours: red and blue. The owls fabrics are from the “On a Whim” and “On an Whim 2” collection by Amy Schimler. We have those fabrics in different colours available in stock now.

Today, we received a delivery of almost 40 bolts of Kokka fabrics from Japan. I was waiting for them impatiently because I couldn’t wait to see all the new cute patterns. We got Kokka fabrics with Matroshka dolls, kittens, Alice in Wonderland, toadstool, peach blossom, deers, monkeys, skulls and many more.

We had some fun in the office building a fabric pyramid with all the fabric bolts and took some pics.

I have another update from Kokka: We sell the fabrics from our first order with Kokka crazily and therefore we decided to place a new order now to prevent running out of stock. We got one wholesale order from a shop in Germany and therefore we can combine the 2 orders, ship them together and save some shipping costs. We ordered over 35 bolts of Kokka fabrics! They will be shipped by ship. I am looking forward to get them, the expected arrival date is 21.10.2009. I will definitely post a blog post when the fabrics arrive. So keep coming back for news!
