If you asked us to pick a favourite, we really couldn’t. Each one of these Robert Kaufman animal fabrics from the USA is so kawaii, we love all of them. It was a lot of fun adding them to our shop this week. We are not completely finished yet and of course there are other designs too. But the birds, elephants, dogs, turtles, monkey, cats and ladybirds got us hooked, so we make them our favourite product of the week. Aren’t they incredibly colourful and have lovely patterns?

For this one you will have to be fast, as it requires processing and Valentine’s Day is approaching. Still we want to include the super cute Michael Miller heart fabric in our Countdown for Valentine’s Day. Because there are so many things you can do with a good quality fabric. Bright and colourful times. Currently we’re adding echino fabrics from the latest collection to our shop and just love it. Especially one fabric we found so incredibly pretty that we want to make it our favourite product of the week.

Maybe it’s the hart and the owl, maybe it’s all the colourful leaves, maybe it’s the funny rectangular design with lots of pretty patterns, maybe it’s all of that together. We don’t really know what it is that creates the fascination of that canvas fabric, so we just enjoy it. We now have the echino forest fabric in 2 different colours in our shop. Think of all the wonderful things you could create with it.

We just added some Kokka fabrics to our shop. There is a lot of really cool new stuff, like that funky retro London fabric, that we fell in love with. You should also take a look at the ‘fabrics for boys’ section, we added a whole bunch there. So you can find quite a few new robot designs, but also stuff with tools or vehicles.

Some of our popular fabrics such as the Kokka elephants or car fabric we got in new colours.

98….99…..100%. Let’s celebrate. We just added the last product of our huge San-X delivery to our shop. This one really kept us busy for a long time, we already got all the items in december. But as there were so many new things and also a couple of public holidays over Christmas and New Year’s, it took us a while to get everything ready for the online shop. We got a lovely little catalogue with the recent Echino Fabric collection a little time ago, which contained some really pretty photos of bags and clothes that were made with the fabrics designed by Etsuko Furuya. It’s really nice to see how the fabrics look like when actually used, we thought you guys might like it too. Especially the Echino Canvas Bonbon Fabric can be seen a lot on the pictures in really pretty handbags, suitcases and funny slippers. You can also find it in our shop in black and beige. The bags made with the Echino canvas perch fabric looks really amazing too.

Echino Fabrics are designed by Japanese designer Etsuku Furuya who had her big breakthrough with the Etsuko Furuya’s Echino fabric collection in 2003. Animated patterns in bright colours have become her signature in her designs. She sticks to simple structures which she combines with great effect. Echino fabrics strike with their bold and loud colours and dynamic textures.

Maybe these pictures inspire you in your future sewing projects, we were defnitely totally blown away by the cute colourful products. And by the way, the Echino spring 2012 collection will arrive at our shop within the next weeks. We’ll keep you posted of course.
