From now on you can find a new product in our shop: wall stickers. They are really hip at the moment, as they are just a great way to decorate your home, office and more without having to paint anything. You just stick them to your wall or furniture and can remove them if you don’t want them anymore. Really easy and lots of room for creativity. We start off with 2 cute designs by Otogicco from Japan, which show adorable fairy tale scenes and charcters. For example there is Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

We met Push Pin at the Gift Show in Tokyo this year. Their English was not so good so we agreed with them that they will contact us again with an English speaking contact person. Today Brian, who is from Hong Kong and is taking care of their production in China, visited us to talk more detailed about their products and their different collections. He also brought some really cute catalogues. We actually do sell Push Pin’s fabric made by Kokka in Japan in our shop already, but they make a lot of other cute products as well, like memo pads, sticker, keychains, wallets, bags and many many more. They have a matryoshka line, fairy tale line, kitty line and others. Their items are really adorable and we want to sell more of their products in our shop. They would fit perfectly with our other items.

The funny thing is that they have a collection  called “November Books” which is about the German fairy tales and they use some German words on their designs. Sometimes those sentences are wrong or just sound very funny. I guess its the same everywhere when people use other languages because they are “fashionable”. My English must also sound funny sometimes as my mother tongue is German, not English.

Our designer Pui Chi just finished making some really awesome new cute stamps. She made stamps with princesses, fairy tale themes, Chinese New Year theme and cute animals. We can’t decide which is our favorite but here are some of them we love the most:

Great news! We now have super cute stamps with patterns like matryoshka dolls, animals, deer, strawberry girl and more. We make the stamps and designs ourselves, therefore they are unique and cannot be found anywhere else! It is quite a lot of work to make the design of each stamp but the result is just amazing. These stamps are special, you don’t need an inking pad and we only use high quality material and ink. We plan to add a lot more stamps, like fairy tale characters, animals, cute Chinese New Year designs, cute food and many more.

We got some new Japanese fabrics from Kokka today. Most of them are fairy tale prints with Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Bremen Town Musicians and Bambi. We also got a really cute cupcake fabric, little florets print, circus animals fabric and a Japanese Jersey with cars suitable especially for boys. We received four new Kokka fabrics from Japan today. They are all fairy tale fabrics with characters like Little Red Riding Hood, Bremen Town Musicians, Bambi, Tom Thumb and more. All fabrics are made in Japan and are super adorable. I imagine those fabrics are perfect as curtains for children, pillow cases, as a dress, patchwork, buttons or anything else cute you can imagine. Bento Boxes are a new trend for making attractive lunch boxes for children for kindergarten or school. In Japan, mothers prepare their kids’ lunch in so called “bento boxes” and the food is presented in a very cute way. There are Hello Kitty shaped vegetables, rice balls with faces and so on. It is getting more popular in Western countries as well. The bento boxes themselves are usually really cute lunch boxes with characters like Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma or some really cute animals. The most current trend is bento boxes with fairy tale prints like Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White and Matryoshka. Matryoshka is the famous Russian doll with a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. They are the most popular designs at the moment.

Our customers asked to get these bento boxes for our shop and therefore we sourced a supplier with really cute animal bento boxes and cutlery sets. The bento boxes are 2-layered lunch boxes with a pair of cute chopsticks. They come in 4 different colors and animal patterns: pink (piggy), green (frog), blue (bear) and yellow (bear). We also have the matching cutlery sets with chopsticks, fork and spoon. We just found another bento box supplier from Japan who will ship us our first order at the end of this month.

Bento boxes can be used as many different things, including their original use as a lunch box, as a sandwich box, for keeping bits and pieces, as a make-up case or many other things.
