Kokka sent us lots of the newest Japanese fabrics directly from Japan today. Those fabrics are just gorgeous. There are many new prints with deers, Alice in Wonderland, cute animals, Little Red Riding Hood, matryoshka dolls, girly skulls and we also ordered some more echino and Heather Ross fabrics. We got some new Japanese fabrics from Kokka today. Most of them are fairy tale prints with Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Bremen Town Musicians and Bambi. We also got a really cute cupcake fabric, little florets print, circus animals fabric and a Japanese Jersey with cars suitable especially for boys. We received four new Kokka fabrics from Japan today. They are all fairy tale fabrics with characters like Little Red Riding Hood, Bremen Town Musicians, Bambi, Tom Thumb and more. All fabrics are made in Japan and are super adorable. I imagine those fabrics are perfect as curtains for children, pillow cases, as a dress, patchwork, buttons or anything else cute you can imagine. We received some really adorable cute woven ribbons from Germany today. There are prints like deer family, toastools, hedgehogs, cute animals, gnomes, geishas, panda bears, Little Red Riding Hood, matryoshkas and many more. The quality is typical great German craftmanship. We plan to stock even more different woven ribbons from this supplier in the near future. We hope you like them.

Bento Boxes are a new trend for making attractive lunch boxes for children for kindergarten or school. In Japan, mothers prepare their kids’ lunch in so called “bento boxes” and the food is presented in a very cute way. There are Hello Kitty shaped vegetables, rice balls with faces and so on. It is getting more popular in Western countries as well. The bento boxes themselves are usually really cute lunch boxes with characters like Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma or some really cute animals. The most current trend is bento boxes with fairy tale prints like Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White and Matryoshka. Matryoshka is the famous Russian doll with a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other. They are the most popular designs at the moment.

Our customers asked to get these bento boxes for our shop and therefore we sourced a supplier with really cute animal bento boxes and cutlery sets. The bento boxes are 2-layered lunch boxes with a pair of cute chopsticks. They come in 4 different colors and animal patterns: pink (piggy), green (frog), blue (bear) and yellow (bear). We also have the matching cutlery sets with chopsticks, fork and spoon. We just found another bento box supplier from Japan who will ship us our first order at the end of this month.

Bento boxes can be used as many different things, including their original use as a lunch box, as a sandwich box, for keeping bits and pieces, as a make-up case or many other things.
