You might have noticed that it is our latest passion to embellish our office with Washi Masking Tape for any holiday (see our Christmas craft and Valentine’s Day craft). As Easter is not far away we decided to craft an Washi Easter Tree. Again it was really fast, easy and lots of fun. We even made a little Easter bunny. Here is how to do it.
1. Cut out egg shapes from paper and stick stripes on Washi Tape on them. You can do any pattern or combination you want. When you cut out the Washi eggs again, leave a little border of tape, so that the eggs will stick to the wall.
2. Take a dark Washi Tape to create an Easter tree on the wall. Then just stick the eggs on it.
A colourful Easter tree we made from Washi Tape
We also made a little Easter Bunny with Masking Tape
Start by cutting out egg shapes from paper
Stick Washi tape on them
Cut out the eggs and leave a little tape border
Your egg could look like this
We made lots of different ones
Then we started to stick a Washi Tape vase on our office wall
After that we just added branches made with brown Masking Tape
You can already start to stick some eggs onto the branches
Inbetween we did a little Easter bunny
The shape is not perfect, but it looks cute
