This year a part of our team went to Tokyo again to visit the Japan Hobby Show, a great exhibition with lots of crafts products, fabrics and stationery and much more. We were very impressed by the amount of new designs and ideas of the exhibitors. We especially like about this tradeshow that it is always open to the public with lots of opportunity to try out a variety of hobby products and new equipment to learn different techniques etc. As per usual we took too many pictures to show them all, but we like to share some of our favorite and most memorable impressions with you guys.
Thousands of people attend the Japan Hobby Show every year.
A lot of inspiration and many new fabric patterns and design ideas.
Some beautiful Kimonos made from Japanese fabrics.
This traditional Japanese handbag is worn for ‘Hanabi’, the summer fireworks.
They are all unique. The pattern really brings a Kimono to life.
Some women practicing cutting sewing patterns with templates.
Busy choosing the best colors and designs for our shop from thousands of products.
Of course we could not miss out on the new Echino fabrics.
Women making handbag decoration from wonderful Echino fabrics.

You can sew your own cute designer bags too.
Very interesting embroidery techniques to learn.
Amazing embroidery. We probably need a bit more practice.
