San-X has made available a new calendar sheet featuring our beloved shy corner creatures, the Sumikkogurashi! You can download it straightaway for free! And not only that, but there is also a wonderful wallpaper on the same theme, ready to primp up your screens (you can find the larger size here, and the smaller size here). We know this is very good news for all Sumikkogurashi fans out there, so we had to share it with you!
In these images, everyone’s favorite kawaii characters are having great fun at Tapioca Park, which boasts the most traditional of fairground attractions: the Ferris wheel, the merry-go-round and the roller-coaster. There is also a candy stall, and lots of small and huge colorful balloons.
We can see many Sumikkogurashi characters there: the polar bear, the shy cat, the penguin, the water lizard and the cutlet. But of course all their tiny companions are around too: many colorful tapioca bubbles, the slug, the weed, the furoshiki, the tempura shrimp tail, the sparrow… all of them!
