Cute pigs pop up everywhere in Hong Kong for Chinese New Year!

As Chinese New Year gets nearer, the malls and streets of Hong Kong primp up to welcome the Earth Pig, which is the Chinese Zodiac animal of the upcoming Lunar New Year.  The festivities also revolve around the coming of spring.  Many brands create dedicated products and promotions, or embellish them with CNY designs, like for the 7-Eleven Coca-Cola Japan edition picture included below.

This means you can find lots of cute pigs and many beautiful flowers on merchandising and store decorations, with pink being the predominant color.  We have selected a few great pictures from the All About Hong Kong Facebook page, so that you can get a taste of what things look like so far…They have been taken at Langham Place, The ONE and New Town Plaza malls, and in the streets of Hong Kong.  Even the kawaii crochet installation at Fashion Walk by La Belle Epoque has been updated for the celebration!

Which of these images do you like best?  Let us know!

Bet you don’t see that everyday!
