Christmas is slowly approaching, so it is time to start our annual Christmas gift ideas series. This year we decided to let our staff members and our office mascot Rilakkuma provide you with inspiration, as they know our products best.
Lok and Rilakkuma present some kawaii ideas for your advent calendar
Our packing fairy Lok is the first one to go. She is really an expert in the warehouse, so we asked her to pick some things she thinks are suitable to put in an advent calendar. After all these 24 little things are the first thing on your to do list if you are planning to make one as it has to be ready by December 1st. Her are some of Lok’s ideas:
1. Band-aids
With their kawaii designs and colors these band-aids are everything but boring.
2. Mini folder
Mini folders are really adorable and very suitable to hold receipts, little notes or stickers. We have a wide range with one or several pockets.
3. Push Pencil
You don’t see them too often anymore, but push pencils are a fun thing that was very popular in the 80s and 90s. Each pencil contains several tips, and once one is used up you take it out and push it to the back of the pencil, so that a new one is revealed.
4. Sticker sacks
Each sticker sack contains up to 100 stickers, so they are a great little treat for stationery lovers.
5. Squishies
Squishies are a fun and cheap little accessory. Lots of them are scented, they look cute, come in lots of different shapes and colors and are very enduring.
6. DIY Eraser Making Set
These kits contain several blocks of eraser material in different colors and scents that you can form into any shape you want. Each DIY eraser making set comes with instructions for a certain dessert design.
7. Reflective stickers
Reflective stickers are not just very cute but also quite useful as they reflect light and are a great protective add-on for traffic.
8. Shinzi Katoh Masking Tapes
Masking Tapes are perfect to put into advent calendars as they are small, cheap and pretty. The Shinzi Katoh Masking Tapes have a very special design that really sticks out.
9. Bento Towels
These cute small towels are perfect as a light permanent companion. They fit in every purse and also make a great hand towel for your bathroom at home.
10. Plugys
A small gift with a great effect. Cellphone plugs are really kawaii, they look super cute on your smartphone and also protect the earphone jack from dust or moisture.
11. Mini Tag Memo pads
This little notepad is really tiny, but super kawaii.
12. Buttons
We recently got these cute little buttons from Robert Kaufman’s Hello Tokyo collection. Aren’t they perfect for an advent calendar?
13. Clips
You can use these lovely small clips in many ways: to close bags, to hang laundry, to hold papers together, for pictures etc.
14. Glass Stickers
Glass stickers are kawaii decorative items for your windows, glasses, bottles or anything made from glass that needs embellishment.
