Robert Kaufman knit tank top sewing project!

We love working with super talented individuals and collaborating with them! Today we wanted to say a big thank you to Meg from madebymeg! She recently posted in her sewing & knitting blog some very nice pictures where she beautifully shows off her new black knit top, made with one of our Robert Kaufman fabrics, and sooooo very cleverly designed from a favorite dress bodice pattern!  In her own descriptive words, she herself “crafted this concoction”, and we are delighted to celebrate her creativity and skill!  Take a look below, and you will see a black knit fabric tank that looks really wearable, stylish, comfortable, and a tiny bit quirky “to keep things interesting” 😀

Also, in her absolutely charming infographic about how and when her sewing & knitting passions took off and developed, Meg says her first fabric of choice was knits, a valuable hint to those who are yet undecided about whether or not to try sewing with this type of material.  Of course, she has really come a long way since, and it shows:  her idea to stylize the top to her preferences is a winner!  We believe she will soon reach her wonderful goal to eventually wear everything handmade, and hope she keeps counting on our kawaii fabrics to get there 🙂  Are you also into sewing for everyday wear?

What a beautiful tank top!

It looks perfect for a warm day!

You can wear this for a dinner party, when casually meeting friends etc.
