We met the echino catalogue cover model

Of course echino stands for beautiful Japanese fabrics designed by Etsuko Furuya, but did you know that they also offer already manufactured goods sewed with their material? Every now and then we get little catalogues showing really beautiful items like bags, cushions, dresses, shirts, skirts and more. But this time especially the model presenting the latest stuff caught our attention. She looked somewhat familiar. And then we remembered: We knew here from our last trip to Japan where part of our team went recently. The pretty cover model Hannah is actually working for Kokka, the fabric company distributing echino products. But being a part-time model is not a bad idea either, we think she does a really great job.

So here are a few impressions of her first big model job. Although we have to admit it is a bit hard to pay attention to her when there are all these colourful echino items around. If you ever need inspiration what to use those fabrics for or are not sure how a certain type looks ‘used’, take a look at those pictures. Echino fabrics are just stunning when used for bags and also make incredibly unique clothes. Our favourite is probably the wonderful skirt on the last picture sewed with the amazing echino canvas bird fabric in blue that we also sell at our shop. Most of the items you can see on those pictures are made with the latest echino collection.

Hannah in a colourful dress made with echino fabric

You almost do not know where to look – pretty things everywhere

Black, green, pink – that echino fabric just looks great in all colours

Which one to choose? All those bags are just beautiful

This dress is an absolute eye catcher – but the funny animal pillows are too

One of our favourites: a skirt made with a blue canvas bird fabric

Spread the love
