More kawaii free wallpapers to download

When we were looking for kawaii Easter wallpapers on the internet, we found so many cute ones that we could change our desktop wallpapers every day. Especially with popular characters like Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, Kutusita Nyanko or Chocopa you can find hundreds or free wallpapers provided by the manufacturers like San-X or Sanrio. Here are a some cute wallpapers all revolving around food, sweets and drinks.

What customers make with our fabrics: echino bags

Again we spotted wonderful things that some of our customers made with our fabrics. After we already introduced you to the cute boy’s shirt Caroline from the Sew Can She blog sewed, she now also made a beautiful handbag from our echino fabric. The combination with the real leather handle is perfect, it is an absolute astonishing piece.

The French designer Les Bêtes de Céline showed us a couple of weeks ago a picture of how she was working on a shoulder bag with our echino laminate fabrics. Now she finished the bag and we totally love it. She combined two echino laminates by Kokka, so the bag is waterproof. It’s absolutely lovely!

Soon it will be Easter, so we decided to decorate our desktops for that upcoming holiday. And we found some super kawaii free wallpapers we want to share with you. Our masking tape in the German Couch magazine

A couple of days ago we found the lovely Couch magazine in our mailbox. The German magazine for living & fashion featured one of our mt masking tapes in their November issue for a special about houndstooth pattern. Although the magazine was published some weeks ago already, we’re still super excited. It’s pretty cool to hold the magazine in your hands and see a product from your shop in it. Everybody took a look and you would hear a lot of “Oh’s” and “Ah’s” in the office.

Lots of our fabrics in German creative magazine

Magazines really plan ahead and have an early schedule. Already at the beginning of this year the German creative magazine “Lena Creativ” contacted us, because they wanted to introduce some of our fabrics for their Christmas issue. Now it’s finally released and we are super happy with all the cute things they made. The magazine sewed a wonderful children’s apron with our green apples fabric from Kokka, an oven glove with the green Kokka apples and the Robert Kaufman forest animal fabric, an amazing lamp shade with one of our pretty ornament fabrics and colourful cushions with our flower fabrics. The magazine also provides you with the sewing instructions for those projects so you can copy all the lovely things yourself!

Super cool wedding dress made with our fabric

We always love to see what all you creative people end up doing with our products, especially our fabrics. And we’re always enchanted by those lovely things. Our customer Ella just sent us some pictures of her wedding dress that she sewed with our cute Smitten Kitten fabric. Isn’t it just beautiful? We really love this unique and classy dress, it just looks perfect on Ella.

Hello Kitty Diamonds are a girl’s best friend

When Sandra and Alan visited Austria they saw an adorable Hello Kitty collection in a Swarovski store and took a couple of pictures. Swarovski is a company based in Austria that manufactures crystal jewelry and products. They are really well known throughout the world. In June they launched their first Hello Kitty collection which they developed in collaboration with Sanrio. There are little figures, necklaces, rings, jewelry sets, but also some leather goods and bags. Everythings shines and sparkles. How do you like those more exclusive Hello Kitty items?

Our erasers in German Nido magazine

What a funny idea. Our cute teeth erasers were published in the december issue of German magazine Nido with kind of an educational mission. Nido is a lifestyle magazine for young parents and introduced the teeth erasers on their products page as a funny example of how you can teach your children what happens if you don’t brush your teeth. Not a bad idea, don’t you think?

modes4u in UK magazine Mollie Makes

This may turn out differently than you would have expected from the headline. Surely most of you think that one of our products got featured in the magazine Mollie Makes. But it is one of our blog pictures! We were surprised ourselves when they contacted us a little while ago. Now we got the magazine and you can check it out yourself.
For an article about fabrics from Tokyo “Mollie Makes” was looking for a photograph of fabric town in Nippori. They saw the one we added to our blog when we went to Japan in April and liked it. So they asked if they could print it in their article and as they mentioned our website, we didn’t see a problem at all. It’s a nice magazine by the way, we could take a look at it now that they sent it to us. It’s from the UK “for people who love the crafty life” and started out just this May.

We are published in the DaWanda Lovebook

We just got the DaWanda Lovebook today, in which we are published. DaWanda is an online marketplace where you can buy unique and self-made stuff from different suppliers and designers. Of course we have our own site there too. Each year DaWanda releases a lovebook for the press where they exclusively present 170 of the loveliest items available. For the edition 2011/2012 one of our fabrics got selected too. It’s by Michael Miller with a very cute Christmas deer print. It’s so great to be in there. When looking through the book I noticed that two of our customers are presented as well. And guess what, they even printed photos of their clothes that are made out of our fabrics. One customer made a cute dress with our fabric, another one sewed an adorable cushion cover.
