Michael Miller’s collection Flower Fairies is very popular with our customers. So we are happy to announce that we now have many more designs of the collection. The fairy designs look really beautiful and quite a few are also embellished with glitter which makes them even more magical. A lot of the fabrics are panel or double border fabrics so always make sure to check out all the pictures in our product description to really know what the fabric looks like.

Don’t you just love the fact that almost all Re-Ment miniatures revolve around food themes? We love it even though it make our mouth water all the time. The latest two Re-Ment sets we received from Japan made us crave sweets immediately. In the Hello Kitty Coffee Shop Re-Ment there are 12 adorable surprise sets with take-away coffee shop designs. The Rilakkuma Dararan leisure snack Re-Ment is also about food, but rather traditional Japanese snacks. This sets contains 8 different blind boxes, our favourites are the adorable Rilakkuma bentos.
We have the most adorable seasonal Rilakkuma plushies in our shop. In the adorable Rilakkuma Halloween Party series Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori are dressed in fancy masquerade ball costumes. They all wear capes, hats with feathers and masks – it looks like they are going to the Venetian Carnival.
In the cute Rilakkuma Winter Knit series the bears and the chick get ready for could winter days. They are wearing bobble hats, scarfs and gloves with Norwegian patterns. It looks like they’re ready to play outside in the snow.

Time for a mini edition of “what customers make with our fabrics”. In the last weeks our Dutch customer fabriekt.nl showed us her beautiful bags she sewed using many of our Kokka and echino fabrics. Our French customer Bienvenue Chez Flaneuze is using our Michael Miller Kiss me fabric and the colorful Timeless Treasures cat fabric as Furoshiki. Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths to transport things.
Are you writing Halloween cards this year? With Masking Tapes you can easily make unique Halloween cards with fun designs. This year we made 3 different versions. Happy Halloween crafting!

We are excited to introduce our new fabric supplier Northcott fabrics. The company with offices in Canada and the USA was already founded in 1935 but it wasn’t until the eighties that they focused on the cotton prints which they are known for today. They have lots of beautiful fabrics that are perfect for quilting, crafting and home decor.
We have lots of pretty cottons and cotton flannels with cute animal or children designs. Northcott fabrics also carries many great panel fabrics and Cheater fabrics which you should definitely check out.
It’s still a while until Christmas but we start receiving the latest Christmas fabrics with our fabric shipments. We just added some super cute Christmas fabrics in cotton and cotton flannel to our shop. We’re highly in love with the adorable Christmas owl prints from the manufacturer Northcott. They also sent us an amazing advent calendar panel fabric that that be turned into a reusable yearly advent calendar. What a great idea!
Some typical kawaii Christmas prints reached us from Japan, the Cosmo Christmas fabrics really have a unique design.
From the US we received many cute Riley Blake Christmas fabrics. There are lots of cute prints with deer, snowmen and Christmas trees, but also very cool Vintage prints with Santa Claus and Christmas wreaths.
Just a couple of weeks until Halloween so it’s about time that we add new Halloween fabrics to our shop. We got the cutest Halloween fabrics from Cosmo in Japan. The Riley Blake Halloween fabrics are very adorable as well and great for projects with children.
We also received some Northcott Halloween fabrics. It’s our first delivery from this fabric manufacturer and we will introduce their fabrics more detailed once we’ve added them all to our shop, but we already like the gloomy atmosphere of the beautiful Halloween designs.
If you like sewing you should definitely have a look at the birch blog. The official blog of the organic fabric manufacturer birch shares wonderful and detailed tutorials made by bloggers like Straight Grain or Plum and June. Today we want to show you some great examples of what to do with cheater fabrics. You can click on the picture below to get to the tutorials on the birch blog.
Cheater fabrics are great for quilting, which is what they are probably mostly used for. But they also look great on projects like home decor pillows, bed linen and also clothes. Our favourite project of the birch tutorials is the soft baby booklet. What a great idea for babies!
