Continuing with the Hobby Show in Tokyo, Sandra and Alan took lots of photos of the arts and crafts item: UV resin. This item is extremely popular amongst individuals who enjoy creating charms, costume jewellery etc. At the exhibition, an LED UV lamp was also on display, to show how it can be used to help quickly dry resin after it’s been placed in a mold. Given the lamp’s clever design, it can also be placed on its side to help dry resin in other directions. Live demonstrations were held to show how useful this lamp is for DIY enthusiasts. UV resin comes in several colors, as you can see in the images, meaning DIY enthusiasts can create all sorts of little items in a wide variety of colors!
Lots of super cute charms in the shapes of horses, birds etc., and jewellery were on display, and all of these were made from resin! Don’t they look amazing?
