Christmas is the time for sweets. Therefore we suggest in day 4 of our daily Christmas advent calendar ideas series to take a step in that direction. Include a sweet chocolate mold in your advent calendar 2012. They are super easy to use, as you just have to fill the fluid chocolate into the mold ans let it dry. At the same time you create something unique. And the new cute chocolates could already be used as a Christmas present… .for others or the advent calendar owner himself/herself.

If you see a super fancy cake in the modes4u office, it’s usually birthday time. This week we celebrated Alan’s birthday with looots of chocolate. The cake we got him was so incredibly rich that everybody was just happily smiling after finishing it. It was already Alan’s 4th birthday cake!!! Isn’t that amazing? What a lucky guy to get 4 cakes. However, our cake was definitely one of his favourites.
Rilakkuma was celebrating with us of course. Our huge office mascot can’t be missing on a festive occasion like this and had to be in our team picture as well. He is just so huge and draws so much attention to him that you barely notice the chocolate cake next to him.
Happy Birthday Alan!

It was her birthday and what did she do? She ate Rilakkuma! Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of our team member Bianca at the office. We got her a lovely Rilakkuma cake with loooots of chocolate and some fruit. It came with a kawaii Rilakkuma picture consisting of white chocolate. And she just couldn’t resist it, it looked so tasty. So she ate the chocolate Rilakkuma and enjoyed every bite. It looked a bit violent, but we forgive her for eating one of our favourite characters. Because you’re allowed to do anything on your birthday. Almost.
Happy Birthday Bianca.

Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. Every year, every family decorates their home with red and golden decoration and flowers and all the shopping malls have huge displays. Some of them are really beautiful, some are very cute. People give lots of sweets as gifts to friends and family and therefore all the supermarkets are full with cookies, chocolates, candy and more. Hong Kong people like to give Japanese cookies and sweets, but the most popular one is the golden chocolate Ferrero Rocher. People here are crazy about them. In the supermarkets there are hundreds and hundreds of them on the shelfs. The reason why they are so popular is, that they are wrapped in golden foil which fits perfectly to the Chinese New Year deco.
