We are thrilled to share these incredible photos of gorgeous bags made by our customer, the super talented Lisa Canzian! Lisa, who is the creator of Ago, Filo e Poesia (you can also find her work on instagram: @agofiloepoesia ), made these bags using fabrics purchased from our shop! Many of these bags use floral patterns, as well as Asian inspired designs. Lisa’s creations are stunning and we can’t stop staring at them! We tried to pick a favorite bag but we simply couldn’t, they’re ALL so beautiful!

To wrap up the posts on this year’s Japan Hobby Show 2016, we want to show you pictures of some of the amazing clothes we saw! Using all sorts of beautiful fabrics, we saw some incredible pieces of work. These included dresses, baby items and more. The ones we found on display, which you can see below, featured very intricate and delicate designs. They featured many patterns too such as polka dot patterns, flowers etc. We were even able to check out a fun fashion show in which the models strutted their stuff in elegant everyday clothing items. Sewing enthusiast were especially loving the various amounts of fabrics on display and there were plenty of fabrics too! All in all, it was a fantastic show and the enthusiasm from the crowd made the event more memorable. We can’t wait for next year’s show!

At the Japan Hobby Show this year, we came across some of the most incredible “food” treats, made entirely out of wool! That’s right, some of the sweet treats we found were really woolly masterpieces, proving you don’t have to be a knitting pro to make something fun with wool! We also saw the most stunning “desserts” made of clay, done with and without the help of clay molds and craft accessories. They’re so realistic, no one would blame you if you thought you could eat them. From fruity treats to cakes, these creations were colorful and a feast for the eyes. We also came across beautiful plants made entirely out of clay too. These plants are extremely popular, with many individuals adorning their homes and work places with these handmade decorative pieces.

When we went to the Japan Hobby Show in Tokyo earlier this year we saw lots of new stationery and decoration we really loved. We will certainly think about getting some of the articles that we don’t carry in our shop yet. Again and again we were stunned by the attention to detail with which the creators care about even the tiniest features of their little pieces of art. Especially the clay decoration we discovered looked so sensationally realistic, it was hard to believe that those were fake sweets. With so many spectacular designs to look at, it’s no wonder it made our mouth water for more of these incredible DIYs.
