We’ve been partnering with the fantastic Sew Magazine to bring you fun giveaways and more! We really wanted to share with you when we’ve been mentioned in their magazines. For their June issue, we were mentioned as a stockist with our beautiful Echino fabric featured. For their July issue, we teamed up with them to give away 10 fantastic fabric bundles and for their recent Christmas issue, we’re currently running another fun fabric giveaway with them, this time it’s Christmas themed! Our Fabrics in Zuckersüß von Kopf bis Fuß

Earlier this year, the fantastic sewing book, Zuckersüß von Kopf bis Fuß was released, and it features some of our beautiful fabrics! The book, written by Cecilia Hanselmann, contains many wonderful sewing patterns for creating super cute baby items. From adorable hats for newborns using Birch dot fabrics to super cute dresses using anchor pattern fabrics, you’ll find lots of wonderful ideas in this book to inspire you to create something sweet for your little one!

Our Fabrics in Näh Dir Dein Kleid

A fantastic new sewing book in German, Näh Dir Dein Kleid by Rosa P. was published and it features some of our lovely fabrics! This new book features sewing patterns, tips and suggestions on designing stunning dresses that can be used day to day, at a party or when going to the office. Our fabrics seen in Rosa’s book included a beautiful green floral design, as well as a radiant zig-zag fabric. Check out some of the beautiful images from Rosa’s book below, and some fabric suggestions you can use to create your own dresses!

Japan Hobby Show 2016 – Part 1

Very recently, part of our team visited the Japan Hobby Show, an incredibile exhibition showcasing stunning fabrics, DIY designs and creations. This jam-packed event was open to the public and many eager individuals came to see this year’s masterpieces. And we can say for certain, this year did not disappoint! We made a stop at a booth run by Kokka, a hugely popular supplier of fabrics and this year they showed off more beautiful Nani Iro fabrics, including designs we recently added to our store! Check out some of the beautiful creations using these fabrics, including bags and clothes, below. Speaking of bags, we also saw many super cute bags at Disney‘s booth and others, with some individuals even demonstrating how these bags were made!

Over the Moon!

Our laminates in German Sewing magazine Näh was mit Wachstuch

One of our lovely laminate fabrics has just been featured in the new special edition of German sewing magazine Patchwork Spezial. The issue called Näh was mit Wachstuch (Sew something with laminate fabrics) now available in Germany, arrived just in time for the start of the wet autumn season and includes practical step by step instructions for sewing a range of great bags, pouches and outdoor pillows. ModeS4u also contributed some fabrics for the making of the issue and fortunately enough one of our stylish Echino fabrics was actually made into a gorgeous gym bag. Many thanks to team for featuring us.

Our visit to the Quilt Market 2015 in Minneapolis: Part3

Although the Quilt Market in Minneapolis is first of all a fabric exhibition for suppliers from the United States, there are also very beautiful Asia fabrics on display. We were able to find amazing new collections from popular brands like Echino and Kokka that will be a great choice for anyone with a soft spot for Japanese designs. We are happy to say that many of the fabrics we chose are already available on modes4u and we are sure that you will love using them to sew wonderful bags, garments and other creative things.
