In the current issue of the big German sewing magazine burda style we are featured in two different categories. Our Kokka windows fabric was named fabric of the month and sold out within 24 hours after the magazine was published. But our fabrics were also used in an adorable series about spring rain clothes, for example for sewing some cute children’s shorts with our organic birch polka dot fabric.

Rilakkuma and Sandra came up with some kawaii Christmas gift ideas
1. echino Jacquard Fabrics
This is a very festive present. The echino Jacquard fabrics are elaborate textiles with woven-in textured complex designs. They are great for making table linen, bed linen, curtains, bags, home decor, upholstery or clothes.
2. Decole Car Bags
Looking for a gift for a family? This could be it. At least if that family has a car. The super cute car organiser bags look adorable and help keeping cars clean and organised. They have lots of compartments for toys, snacks, bottles etc. and are easily attached to the back of the front seats. Of course this is also a great present for singles who like to keep their cars tidy.
3. DIY Kaleidoscope Set
This DIY clay kaleidoscope kit is a nice present for a child who is old enough for crafting a bit more detailed things. It’s lots of fun to make and decorate the kaleidoscope.
4. Ceramic Phone Stand
The ceramic phone stands look so cute that you won’t want to take your phone out of them ever again.
5. Little Red Riding Hood Tea Set
This gift idea can be as big or small as you want it to be. We have lots of different Decole cups and tea pots with the adorable Little Red Riding Hood character, so you can only give somebody a kawaii mug as a present or a whole cute tea set.

Yay, we are featured in the awesome German DIY magazine Lena Creativ again. This time we teamed up for their crafty Christmas issue, which was released in October. The editors used our echino fabrics to sew beautiful things like a patchwork blanket or a cosmetic case. They also put them on photo albums which really looks great is a cool Christmas gift idea. It’s so exciting to see our products in magazines, we love it.

Echino released some very pretty Jacquard fabrics which we now have in our shop. It’s a bit hard to see on the pictures, but Jacquards are fabrics with woven-in designs. They have a wonderful texture and look really classy, as metallic yarn and chenille yarn was used for weaving. Some fabrics even have gold metallic yarn in them. Due to this wonderful yarn they all have a silky shine and look very elaborate.
So what can you sew with them? They definitely give everything a unique look and might look a bit opulent, but they are great for table linen, bed linen, curtains, bags, home decor, upholstery or clothes. We can totally see wonderful winter skirts or coats made with the echino Jacquards.
Wow, our customers in Europe are really creative with our products. Many people from Spain, Italy and France posted pictures of gorgeous things made with our products on our Facebook wall, so we want to share some of them with you. They are truly inspiring.
Our customers from Spain made some amazing stuff. Lola Godoy showed on her blog Redecora Te a great Washi Tape necklace makeover for which she used our black heart and purple spots Washi Tapes. A little while ago we also spotted an incredible shoe makeover there. Lola used one of our Robert Kaufman fabrics to give some high heels a new look. La Inglesita sewed an amazing children’s raincoat with our laminated Dino Dudes fabric. We totally love it.
In France our customers showed us lots of lovely bags lately. On Le Petit Monde de Lilaxel we saw this amazing school bag Lilaxel made for her son with our Super Kids fabric. Céline from Les Bêtes de Céline also sewed an amazing waterproof schoolbag with our echino bike laminate fabric. We adore the color, it looks so fresh and happy. Marie-Anne Thuillas from Made in Hémisphère Sud made a great big bag from our echino wildflower laminate fabric.
We finish with a great idea provided by our Italian customers Ross E Cris Petrilli. They put our funny dachshund fabric on a canvas and use it to display the prizes and ribbons their dachshund received at several contests. Isn’t that lovely?
