Happy Natural Time with Rilakkuma collection

So kawaii! We now have lots of stationery items from the latest “Happy Natural Time with Rilakkuma” collection in our shop. It’s all about being out in the forest and collecting apples and fruit for delicious home-made pies. Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma are dressed as super cute deer while chick Kiiroitori is dressed as an owl. We love the warm, cozy vibes of this collection.

The range of products with the deer Rilakkuma designs is quite wide, we have stationery like folders, memo pads, pens, pencils, stamps, stickers, Masking Tapes and letter sets. But be sure to check out items like plush toys, cellphone charms, key covers, towels, bags, bandages or tissue cases.

New characters in our shop: Zombbit zombie rabbits

They are one one of the creepiest San-X characters yet… but in a cute way. Check out all the funny Zombbit zombie rabbit stationery and plushies we now have in our shop. Zombbit rabbits are cute rabbits that somehow became zombies. The reason for this is not really clear, but there is no time to think about it, because the living dead bunnies are very hungry and will try to bite anything. They make the gnawing sound “gajigaji” all the time and are super slow. Once they bite another bunny it is infected too and will become a zombie.

Soon we will introduce the different Zombbit characters more detailed.

Advent calendar ideas by Rilakkuma and Maggie

Our packing fairy Lok already gave you 15 suggestions what to put in this year’s advent calendar. Today we asked our online marketing queen Maggie to provide some more ideas. Our big office mascot Rilakkuma helped her brainstorming. Here is what they came up with:

Lots of new Decole products in our shop

Lots of new stuff from Little Red Riding Hood in our shop. The cute little fairy tale figure is the star of the Otogicco collection from the Japanese stationery manufacturer Decole, and the products are always super popular. We got adorable Red Riding Hood Bento supplies like cups and tea pots, but also many stationery items. All new are the Red Riding Hood glass stickers, which you can use as window decoration or to embellish glasses and jars.

Decole also has many other cute collections, we got new items from the concombre line and lots of kawaii things from the collection Decolello. The Decollelo products are great for infants and little children, they have things like diaper stackers, baby changing bags or car bags.

Rilakkuma Wonderland collection in our shop

We already mentioned it here and there, to celebrate Rilakkuma’s 10th Anniversary this year San-X released lots of special Rilakkuma editions. We now have almost 100 products with the Rilakkuma Wonderlandtheme in our shop. This collection is all about royalty and celebrations with Rilakkuma and his friends on carousels and dressed in marching band uniforms. It is super cute and super limited! We are one of the few online shops outside of Japan that is allowed to sell this collection internationally. And as it’s a limited edition we probably won’t be able to reorder it.

New: Sesame Street stationery

Who doesn’t remember Elmo, Cookie Monster or Ernie & Bert? Generations have been growing up with the cute characters from Sesame Street and still are. We now have some adorable Sesame Street products in our shop, mainly memo pads, deco tapes and pencil cases. Be sure to check out the super kawaii reversible Sesame Street plush pencil case. One side is red Elmo, but you can also flip the case inside out to have a cute blue cookie monster pencil case.

San-X shop modes4u: More than 2000 products and special editions

Our partnership with the Japanese stationary and gift manufacturing company San-X really flourished in the past years. Last year we were super proud that we carried almost 1,000 San-X products in our shop, this year the amount has more than doubled. By now we carry more than 2,100 San-X products on modes4u.com. It’s not such a big surprise when you keep in mind that Rilakkuma is the most popular character in our shop, and also San-X’ most successful character.

It’s also a big honor that we are allowed to sell limited Rilakkuma editions. To celebrate Rilakkuma’s 10th anniversary San-X has been releasing quite a few super limited plush toy editions, which are almost exclusively available in Japan. Only a handful of retailers in the whole world are allowed to sell them outside of Japan and we are one of them. This is why you can buy the Rilakkuma zodiac sign edition or the Rilakkuma Chinese New Year edition at our shop.

We will keep ordering many new products from all the different San-X characters and soon we will hopefully have 3,000 San-X products in our shop.

New characters in our shop: Sumikkogurashi

In late 2012 San-X released a new character: Sumikkogurashi. We now got the first products with these funny looking fellas, but didn’t really know much about them. Fortunately we found the quirky blog which explained what Sumikkogurashi is. Literally the name means ‘Corner Living’. All the cute little characters are super shy which is why they like to hide in the corner where they feel safe. The Sumikkogurashi consists of many different characters like a white bear, a penguin, a snail, a cat, pork cutlet, dust, weed and more. Do you like them?
