Today’s post is especially dedicated to all fans of kawaii wallpapers and Japanese characters! As you know, we at modeS4u do LOVE kawaii items and designs, and these include wonderful goodies like those made available by the Japanese brand San-X on their website, namely their delightful wallpapers…which of course we love to share with you all here!
So get ready to revamp your desktop this very instant with the cutest free wallpapers featuring our favorite shy corner creatures: the Sumikkogurashi! The beloved tiny things appear in full color on all designs, and seem to be celebrating their love for food, whether quietly sitting at a well laid table full of Japanese delicacies inside a house, dealing with dough while learning to make bread and pastry at a masterclass, or happily sitting along a counter and enjoying fruit desserts at the strawberry fair. They are true gourmets!!
If you are more into a relaxed mood, there are also a couple of wallpapers about sleeping and dreaming! Take a look at the pictures below, where we have included some details for you to better appreciate these beautiful designs. If you like drawing, or would like to learn to draw, the Sumikkogurashi are a fabulous subject for beginners, with their cleverly sleek shapes 😉 Give them a try, and share your finished drawing with us!
Well, here is a post for all fans of kawaii wallpapers! We know you will love these awesomely cute designs featuring the most adorable bears in the San-X universe, Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma!

Our amazing customer, Merita, created an incredible bag using Asia fabric she purchased from our shop! This shoulder bag is so stylish and practical, it’s the kind that would be great for everyday use, or for a formal event. It uses a particular fabric design, by Alexander Henry. Does it inspire you to create something using a fabric you’ve purchased from us? If so, please do send us photos, as we love seeing them! We’ve included some suggestions for other fabrics you could use for your own bag project, check them out too.
