Birch fabrics are incredibly popular, due to their beautiful designs and their use of high quality certified organic materials. We know many of you are curious about this so we’d like to share with you their certification, which shows Birch textiles are processed in accordance with Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). The GOTS is one of the world’s best standards for recognizing organic textiles; only fabrics with over a 70% organic fibre content can be GOTS certified. Are you a fan of organic fabrics? If you like sewing you should definitely have a look at the birch blog. The official blog of the organic fabric manufacturer birch shares wonderful and detailed tutorials made by bloggers like Straight Grain or Plum and June. Today we want to show you some great examples of what to do with cheater fabrics. You can click on the picture below to get to the tutorials on the birch blog.
Cheater fabrics are great for quilting, which is what they are probably mostly used for. But they also look great on projects like home decor pillows, bed linen and also clothes. Our favourite project of the birch tutorials is the soft baby booklet. What a great idea for babies!
We have lovely new organic fabrics by monaluna in our shop. The super cute maritime collection Under the Sea as well as the cool geometric collection Haven with lots of grey and yellow are available with all designs. And if you are in need of stretch – we now also have monaluna knit fabrics.
