Let us bring into focus another great opportunity to practice this most useful craft, now with a really simple design that will let you make some beautiful reversible placemats. The original placemats in this free sewing project uses Robert Kaufman fabrics with a checkered pattern, as you will see in the first image included below.

Checkered fabrics are some of our all time favorites, together with dotted and striped patterns, and that is why they have a category of their own in our shop!
