We are really excited to be celebrating our 9th anniversary with you! We decided it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and look back at some of the product trends we kept up with over the years, as well as some that we’re keeping up with now!

One of the earliest we noticed was the Rockabilly trend. As a result, we stocked gloves, T-Shirts, bags, wallets and more as customers were looking for stylish, edgy, nostalgic pieces that were both classic and contemporary.

We then moved on to Tenshi Neko products. This was similar to Hello Kitty and was what actually moved our company towards cute and kawaii products. Tenshi Neko products were super popular and we had many customers who loved its cute and quirky appeal. At about the same time, we also had a lot of customers who were simply crazy for star scarves (we now have lots of star fabrics instead!) so we made sure to stock plenty in different colors and of different material types. We also moved towards stocking Japanese stationery as we noticed a number of customers looking for kawaii products in this category too.

Then came the trend of clay products, for DIY projects, and arts and crafts. This is actually still a big, continuing trend as many of our customers enjoy crafting. We made sure to keep up by adding items that could be used for DIY craft purposes, such as miniature food items, liquid coloring etc.

One of our biggest product categories now though, is fabrics. We recognized that many of our customers also enjoyed sewing and were constantly looking for new and beautiful fabrics to work with. Over the years we’ve stocked more and more fabrics from renowned designers and fabric producers such as Robert Kaufman, Birch, Kokka and more. We also expanded our collection of Japanese fabrics greatly.

And of course, we can’t forget one of the most popular type of products at the moment: kawaii squishies! We love that many of our customers are passionate squishy fans who constantly have awesome suggestions for us of what squishies they want, and we do our best to get those products in! We’ve added in squishies from Puni Maru, iBloom and have so many more coming soon!
