The organic fabric manufacturer birch published a new line with canvas and knit fabrics, which we now carry in our shop. All the designs in “The Grove Decor” collection are nice strong canvas fabrics while the collection “Elk Grove Knits” contains stretchable interlock fabrics. You might have seen some of the designs already, as birch took popular designs from several Jay-Cyn Designs collections to create these two new fabric lines.

Have you heard of Skelanimals? It’s a brand from the USA with a very catchy design revolving around cute animals… that are dead. Due to their own reckless and ill-advised behavior they died and are now just bones, still they are super cute and look for a home with a special someone to care for and love them. There are a lot of different characters like dog Maxx, rabbit Jack, fox Foxy, owl Oliver and many more.
We now have a bunch of colourful Skelanimals fabrics in our shop.
Oh Gosh, where do we start? In the last days and weeks we really have been adding lots of new fabrics. First of all we have new suppliers. Now you can find lovely fabrics from the Canadian manufacturer Camelot and the American manufacturer David Textiles in our shop. The latter also supplies us with the super cool Skelanimals fabrics which we will introduce soon more detailed. Also we added some big panel fabrics by David Textiles which are perfect for quilting.
Robert Kaufman sent us new fabrics too in all materials available (cotton, flannel, jersey, corduroy). We have adorable new designs from Ann Kelle’s Urban Zoologie collection and super cute forest animal prints from the Forest playground collection. If you like cool retro prints you should check out all the new Jersey fabrics by Amy Biggers.
Since we added Fat Quarter fabric bundles to our shop, they always sold out super quickly, so be fast if you want one of the new items based on Colorstories by Robert Kaufman.
Yay, now we have super cute San-X phone plugs with Rilakkuma in our shop. The phone plugs protect your earphone jack from dust and moisture, but of course they also look really cute and decorate your mobile. We got kawaii designs with brown bear Rilakkuma, white bear Korilakkuma, yellow chick Kiiroitori, Sentimental Circus and Kutusita Nyanko.
We just added some new paper clays by the Japanese brand Debika to our shop. Most of them are in white colour, but they can always be painted after they have dried. All of them are lightweight paper clays which are great for crafting dolls or small objects. Besides ‘regular’ lightweight air-dry clay we also have environmental-friendly paper clay, an ultra light paper clay and vacuum-packed paper clay in a reclosable bag to protect clay from drying out.
If you would like to try something different, get the cool wood paper clay which is made from recycled wood flour. You can craft objects in a wooden look with this kind of clay.
If you like Japanese designs you will love this. We have a couple of very pretty new iPhone5 cases by Shinzi Katoh. We didn’t get new products from this brand for ages, so we’re really excited. They always have very cute designs and we now have lots of new Shinzi Katoh products. The cellphone cases with cute forest animal, Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood or bear pictures are all suitable for iPhone 5.
We will add lots more stationery, masking tapes and postcards in the next days.
We just added a bunch of new mugs to our shop. They are all from our latest San-X delivery, so they are all about Rilakkuma, Sentimental Circus, Kutusita Nyanko or the cute shy Sumikkogurashi characters. For the first time ever we now have two Sentimental Circus magic mugs in our shop. The design of the cup will change when you fill it with hot water. We also got some new gift sets containing cup and towel. Also check out our cute new Sentimental Circus bowls.
A couple of days ago we added fabrics from the super cute Hello Tokyo collection by Robert Kaufman to our shop. While browsing the web we found some incredible pictures on what to use those fabrics for. We saw these photos on the blog The Red Thread written by Lisa Tilse. Lisa designed the collection for Robert Kaufman and showed really great examples of what to do with the Hello Tokyo fabrics. We’re totally in love with all those adorable cushions which you can sew with the big Kokeshi doll fabric. How do you like these ideas?
Time to show off some adorable products some of our customers made with our fabrics. Cherie Amelie from Portugal sewed a super cute girl’s dress with our Little Red Riding Hood Kokka fabric. She posted a whole album full of adorable pictures of her little model posing for the camera, who obviously felt very comfortable in that wonderful summer dress. Unfortunately that fabric is currently sold out in our shop, but we still have many other kawaii Little Red Riding Hood fabrics in stock.
Our UK customer Emily from Leading the Pack made super cute dog collars with our fabrics. That’s an awesome idea, we haven’t seen anything like this done before. Especially the funny Timeless Treasures dog paw fabric is really great for a dog collar. We love it.
If you also want to show us what you made with our fabrics or other crafting products from our shop, just post a picture on our Facebook wall. We always appreciate it.
Who doesn’t remember Elmo, Cookie Monster or Ernie & Bert? Generations have been growing up with the cute characters from Sesame Street and still are. We now have some adorable Sesame Street products in our shop, mainly memo pads, deco tapes and pencil cases. Be sure to check out the super kawaii reversible Sesame Street plush pencil case. One side is red Elmo, but you can also flip the case inside out to have a cute blue cookie monster pencil case.
