Just like many other countries and worldwide locations, Hong Kong celebrates the Easter festival with a few days of holiday that usually move around mid-April. We, and many of you across the world, will soon be enjoying four days of holiday in a row: namely Good Friday, the Saturday and Sunday after that, and Easter Monday.

Eggs are a universal symbol of new life and rebirth, and spring is the season when every living thing wakes up to a new yearly cycle of growth and regeneration: a myriad of flowers bloom, deciduous trees grow new buds and green leaves, etc. Eggs are at the centre of some colorful happy Easter traditions, involving egg-shaped treats and chocolates, egg coloring and egg hunting.
