Welcome back to all you sewing enthusiasts! Today we bring you a post about a gorgeous tote bag done with some of our echino fabrics, in a collaboration with the sewing blog haberdasheryfun! And that is not all, as there is yet another easy and creative sewing project made available on her post too: a beautiful curvy pouch with zipper!
Alright, first things first 🙂 For the tote, Marni from haberdasheryfun chose canvas fabrics featuring a wonderful design with abstract mountains on black, and another dotted design in metallic silver for the lining. A sewing pattern by Noodle-Head was used, called The Redwood Tote, to make a sturdy looking tote with especially convenient features: short handles, removable long strap, and an outside pocket with zipper. We think the result looks very professional and really neat! Take a look at the pictures below: how do you like it?
Then, with the same metallic silver dots design on dark blue canvas, she made another useful item, but this time using a sewing pattern of her own creation! On her post you will find links to her Curvy Zipper Pouch sewing pattern, as well as to 2 blog posts with detailed instructions and lots of pictures of the sewing process. If you ever wanted to learn how to sew a curvy zipper, head right on to her tutorial!
And if you ever wondered how it feels to sew with gorgeous Japanese fabrics, head on to our online shop and check the many designs we have there waiting for you 😉 Do not forget to send us photos of your completed sewing projects, we love to see and share them! In closing, a big thank you goes from us to the talented work of Marni!
