Arts and crafts is always a lot of fun, regardless of whether you’re an adult or a kid. Sandra, the founder of our kawaii shop, gave lots of lovely and cute fabric samples to her son’s (Mason) school, and the kids certainly unleashed their creativity! The kids cut up the samples and attached them to projects they had been working on, having a really good time in the process. The kids certainly enjoyed playing with the fabrics and checking out all the different designs and bright colors. The cloth samples were easy for them to handle as well, as they were the ideal size for little ones to play with. They sliced up the textiles into all sorts of shapes; they worked very hard on their projects!
We are always looking for new ways we can be environmentally friendly and sensitive towards nature. It was our pleasure to provide these fabric samples to schools rather than have them end up in a landfill, as these fabrics are beautiful, and can certainly still be used, regardless of their size. The creative kids at Mason’s school definitely put these fabrics to good use! Check out some of the truly adorable photos of these mini artists in action.
