Whilst visiting Japan, Sandra and Alan checked out the truly mesmerizing teamLab Borderless exhibition in Aomi Station, Odaiba, Tokyo. The interactive lighting installations were utterly breathtaking! We simply had to whip up a blog post about it so you could all get a glimpse of how amazing the exhibition is!
The exhibition featured multiple rooms, including one with stunning digital flowers! These flowers would float across walls and if someone were to touch them, the flowers would actually move! The artwork was incredibly detailed, and visitors were always left in awe of what they saw.
Another room featured large, lightweight ‘lamps’ that changed colors and could be picked up. They were amazing for photos, certainly. The unique design left everyone with a big smile on their face!
There was also a room with an engaging children’s area. In this area, a digital train could be seen moving on the floor. Toy blocks were placed nearby which children could physically move around. Due to the interactive design of this installation, where children placed the blocks could actually affect the movements of the trains! That was fun for adults to see, not just kids!
If you’re in Japan, this exhibition is a MUST for you to visit. Head to their website for information on how to find them, their opening hours and how to buy tickets. Check out our photos and videos below to see for yourself!
