You could really get deliciously lost while browsing the zillion wonderful sewing and crafting ideas on the internet for fabric scraps! There are just so many beautiful creative projects out there, we simply had to share them! Today we have chosen another bunch of pictures for you, on how to recycle textile leftovers or fabric remnants to create small handmade items like oven mitts and pot holders, bookmarks, buttons or bobby pins, keychains, pacifier clips, cord keepers, on-the-go classic games like tic-tac-toe and tangram with drawstring bags, bi-fold wallets, phone wallets or plastic bag holders.
(However, we firmly believe our fabric scrap craze will not end here…we will soon be back with more delightful ideas: think coasters, scrunchies, purses, belts, lanyards, bibs, memory games etc. but also decorative flowers, wall art, lamp shades, garlands, book covers, necklaces…And we absolutely love bags, so you should probably expect an upcoming post on gorgeous handbags made from fabric scraps ;D )
Most of these projects are very easy, and require little or no sewing experience, so beginners can give them a go. They also tend to be really cheap, and eco-friendly, which is definitely a big plus! Besides, the ones we include here will allow you to enjoy these items yourself or give them as gifts to someone special! 😉 If you’re itching to give some of these ideas a go but need some small fabrics to work with, check out our fabric remnant bundle!
Go ahead and give them a go! Make sure you share with us some pictures of your creations, we would love to see them!
